The Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road (The Belt and Road,or B&R) Initiative was proposed by China's President Xi Jinping in 2013, which aimed to enhance connectivity and deliver benefits between Asia, Europe and Africa. The signing countries were called B&R countries. In 2015, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank(AIIB) was founded with aim of supporting B&R initiative,so the member countries of AIIB were also considered as B&R countries.
